A Wellness Buddy is a peer that a provider on FrumHealth.org knows and vouches for. Often it is someone who has been through what your client is going through. They support a client between sessions. They are not clinicians.
Who can see them
Only providers listed on FrumHealth.org, signed in on their device. Everyone else sees how many Wellness Buddies a provider knows, and nothing more.

A buddy's profile is not in any page, file or search result. It loads for you after the site checks your listing's key, and it stays in that browser tab.
Why refer to one
- More support for your client between sessions, from someone who has lived it.
- Someone a colleague knows. Every buddy is vouched for by a provider you can call.
- Clear roles. The buddy is a peer. You, and the provider who vouches for them, stay the clinicians.
Find one
Open Wellness Buddies. Search by name, city, language, or anything in their profile. Each card names the provider who vouches for them.

Some buddies use a pen name. The provider who vouches for them knows who they are.
Reach one
You reach a buddy through the provider who vouches for them. On a buddy's page, the Vouched for by box has that provider's phone and email, and Chat when they are online. The email's subject names the buddy.

Save them and make a list
Tap the bookmark on a buddy's card to save them. In Saved, buddies sit beside the profiles you saved, under Buddies.
Tap Create a list, tap the cards you want, and drag them into order. Then tap Share this list.

A list shows its Wellness Buddies to providers only. Anyone else who opens it sees the rest of the list. So send a list with buddies to a colleague, not to a client.

Know someone who could be one?
Send them What is a Wellness Buddy: Share this page at the bottom of it sends the link. They read it, then sign up from the button beside it and choose you as the provider who vouches for them. Once they are approved, your page says how many you know.

A Wellness Buddy is a peer, not a clinician, and this is not a health service.
