Someone to lean on between sessions. Providers vouch for peers they know, and those peers can stay anonymous.
How the Wellness Buddy system works
- A provider vouches for someoneA person they know is ready to support others, often someone who has been through it.
- That person signs up as their Wellness BuddyUnder a real name or a pen name. Their profile names the provider who vouches for them.
- Providers refer to themA client asks their own provider for extra support. The provider finds a Wellness Buddy and reaches out to the provider who vouches for them.
