About

I’m a licensed social worker, somatic practitioner, massage therapist, and a single mom of two beautiful children. I’m also just another human trying to figure out how to move through this life feeling at home in my body. My wish, as both a therapist and a human, is for everyone to experience a growing sense of safety, support, and wholeness—even in the midst of life’s messiness.

It might not feel safe to fully be yourself. Maybe at some point you were judged, labeled, or misunderstood—and since then, you’ve learned to hold parts of yourself back. You might carry a lot of shame, sadness, or feelings that feel like too much to say out loud. Maybe you look like you’re doing okay on the outside, but inside it feels very different. Maybe you wish there was somewhere you could just be… without having to filter, explain, defend, agree, or worry about how it’ll be perceived and received.
I don’t see myself as the expert on you. I see my sessions as two humans sitting together, trying to understand what’s going on for you and what you actually need. I’ll bring my presence, my honesty, my life experience (if you'd like), and my easygoing personality —but mostly I'm listening closely to you and letting that guide us.
My hope is that over time, we can create something that feels real and safe enough for you to start showing up more fully—as you are. If something here resonates, I would love for you to reach out!

Great to meet you! Life is not a bed of roses. We all have challenges all the time. How we face challenges matters and oftentimes this is too difficult to navigate. Each new stage in life brings its own new challenges. However, with each new challenge comes a new opportunity. By learning to overcome the challenge effectively, we are more capable of embracing the opportunity. This is hard. Very hard. As a social worker, I help people face challenges and make them into stepping stones for increased growth. A motto I created based on the above is “change will happen regardless; you might as well be in control of what and how you change. If change were an option, then the world would still look like when it was created.”
