Feel nurtured while empowering your mental health”
About
As a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with many years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), I bring a comprehensive and compassionate approach to mental health care. My background allows me to understand the deep connection between physical health, emotional wellness, and life experiences, helping patients feel truly seen and supported.
I believe healing begins with being heard. I take time to listen carefully, understand each person’s unique story, and create a safe, nonjudgmental space where patients feel empowered in their treatment journey. My approach combines evidence-based psychiatric care with a holistic perspective that nurtures personal growth, resilience, and lasting wellness.
I have extensive experience treating severe and persistent mental illness, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, trauma-related conditions, and co-occurring substance use disorders. I also specialize in addiction medicine, ADHD, women’s mental health, and psychiatric care across different stages of life.
My clinical experience includes the management of complex psychiatric conditions using both traditional and advanced treatment approaches, including long-acting injectable medications for patients who may benefit from improved treatment consistency and stability. Medication management is approached thoughtfully and carefully, with close attention to each patient’s goals, symptoms, lifestyle, and overall well-being. I believe in collaborative care and work closely with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that support both symptom relief and long-term empowerment.
Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, addiction, life transitions, or more complex psychiatric concerns, my goal is to help you regain balance, build confidence, and move toward a healthier and more fulfilling life.
