A quote that guides my work is "It's never too late to have a happy childhood" by Tom Robbins

About

Clients I Work With:

A lot of people come to me carrying old wounds, wounds that were never meant to be theirs to carry in the first place. You may look like you’re functioning on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, depressed, or lost within. Early on, you may have learned to ignore your own needs, take care of others, strive for perfection, or stay small in order to feel safe and accepted. You might find yourself stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, struggling to trust yourself or others, or noticing that past experiences continue to impact your present life.

I work with teenagers (16+) and adults who are struggling with PTSD, childhood and attachment wounds, and religious trauma. I also support young adults navigating life transitions and developing a sense of self.

Approach:

In sessions I use EMDR, expressive therapies like sand tray and art, and inner child work to help you process what words alone can't always reach. Sessions are creative and active, not just talk. I'll gently challenge you to face what you've been avoiding, and we'll work through it together using whatever combination of approaches fits where you are.

Groups:

I offer inner child groups for women that combine learning about the inner child, peer support and experiential activities such as journaling and art. The groups meet for 6 week and there are ongoing drop-in groups available to continue to connect.
