Hi, I'm Tova Brody, practice owner and therapist at Compass Counseling Services. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience providing psychotherapy and counseling. I specialize in treating adolescents and adult women navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, women's issues, and eating disorders.
My approach is integrative and client-centered, drawing from extensive training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), somatic practices, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Each session is tailored to the client's unique needs and goals, helping them build resilience, create meaningful change, and strengthen their connection with themselves and others.
In addition to my clinical practice, I provide consultation, training, and supervision for mental health professionals, including clinicians pursuing licensure. I also have experience in program management and leadership, mentoring both licensed clinicians and student interns to develop evidence-based skills, enhance clinical competence, and grow into thoughtful, effective, practitioners.
